JB Training LLC offers a Concealed Firearm License class that meets the training requirements needed to submit an application for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
This course exceeds the training requirements needed for Florida. However, our company believes that merely meeting the minimum state requirements short changes you without alerting you to what you really need to know.
In most Concealed Firearm License courses you will NOT receive the information and knowledge you will need to know if you are serious about carrying a concealed firearm in Florida or the 33 states that have a reprociticy argreement with Florida. Many of them do not require you to really demonstrate that you can actually handle and fire a pistol.
Our course is 2.5 to 3 hours in length and requires you to shoot a minimum of 20 rounds of ammunition or a maximum of 50 rounds of ammunition.
This course consists of the following:
- Introduction to Florida Statutes
- Introduction to Basic Firearms Safety
- Introduction to Marksmanship fundamentals
- Future Training Opportunities
To complete this course you will have to demonstrate that you know how to load, fire, and unload your pistol with a reasonable degree of skill. We expect you to hit your target. Don't worry though. We will work with you to achieve the level of skill needed to receive our training certificate.
