Reality-Based Training Courses
JB Training LLC provides a variety of Reality-Based Pistol courses for all skill levels from never shot a gun to an advanced shooter. We have a course that is appropriate for your skill and knowledge level. All of our courses meet the training requirements for applying for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
We offer the following courses:- Advanced Point and Sighted Shooting - Advanced Point Shooting with transition to sighted shooting
- Very Advanced Shooting - Very Advanced Point Shooting and sighted shooting in extreme situations
- Force-on-Force Level 1 - Exercises and drills
- Level 2 - Simple Scenarios
- Level 3 - Complex Scenarios

Course Descriptions
- Semi-Automatic Pistol Shooting Fundamentals - Provides instruction on semi-automatic pistol shooting fundamentals
- Basic Revolver shooting Fundamentals - Provides instruction on revolver shooting fundamentals
- Point Shooting Fundamentals - Provides instruction on point shooting skills needed for lethal force encounters.
- Concealed Weapon or Firearm License Course - Meets the minimum training requirements for applying for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
- Equipment Selection for Concealed Carry - Provides the participant with the information needed to select a defensive handgun and the other pieces of equipment that go along with that selection
- Advanced Point and Sighted Shooting – Provides instruction in advanced point and sighted shooting techniques
- Very Advanced Shooting Provides instruction in very advanced point shooting and sighted shooting techniques including dynamic movement, shooting on the move and techniquess for handling multiple opponents in extreme situations.
- Preparation for Force-on-Force - Prepares the participant for the type of shooting that will be done in the Force-on-Force classes.
- Force-on-Force Level 1 The Level 1 FOF course moves the student from shooting on a flat range to being able to engage other shooters using simple drills and exercises.
- Force-on-Force Level 2 - The Level 2 FOF course uses simple scenarios that require some problem solving.
- Force-on-Force Level 3 - The Level 3 FOF course uses complex scenarios that require planning and problem solving.
- Shoot/No Shoot Video Scenarios - Uses video scenarios projected onto a screen. The participants react to the scenarios by using a real pistol which has been fitted with a laser insert
- Home Invasions - Provides information on the characteristics of home invasions and how to deal with a home invasion that is taking place
- Social Chaos - Provides information on what happens when law and order break down. Specific steps that you can take to prepare for such an event are presented.
- NRA Pistol Classes - First Steps Pistol, Basic Pistol,. Personal Protection in the Home, and Personal Protection Outside the Home are available for those persons who wish to take NRA training. All NRA courses meet the training requirements for applying for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License. NRA classes may be conducted by J B Training LLC or in conjunction with Accurate Edge LLC. The owner of this company is an NRA Training Counselor and can schedule NRA Instructor courses as well.
- Private Shooting Lesson - We offer private shooting lessons that can be customized to meet individual needs and skill requirements.
