Self Defense Shooting from Zero to 21 Feet
This course teaches shooting techniques that are effective at distances ranging from zero to 21 feet. These are the distances where most gunfights and assaults occur. At these distances you do not need to use your pistol sights to achieve combat accuracy.
What We Teach
The point shooting techniques we teach are instinctive, intuitive, and easy to learn. You will learn how to make combat accurate shots without using the sights on your pistol. Once you learn the point shooting techniques taught in this course you will find they are easy to maintain without significant additional investments of your time. The Self Defense Shooting from Zero to 21 Feet course also introduces our students to the legal, moral, and ethical aspects involved when shooting in self defense.
Why Zero to 21 Feet?
Inside and outside the home most gunfights will occur at distances between 0 to 21 feet. Such assaults are high stress events and you are not likely to be at your best. In particular the skills you may have acquired in range target shooting are not likely to be successful when you are engaged in a fight for your life. Losing this type of fight is not an option. The point shooting skills you learn from us tend to get better in times of stress.
