Costs
Price per class is $50 – unless otherwise marked.
Oakwell Armory Range members will receive a $5 discount on each class
Non range members must pay a $10 facility usage fee to Oakwell Armory when attending a class. This usage fee is waived for military and police participants. 

We offer individual classes as well as multiple participant classes.  All classes are scheduled by request. 

Firearms are available for rent for those who do not have a firearm.

To attend a class you must preregister by one of the following methods:

2. Call 904 430 3627 and request a class
3. Sign up at Oakwell Armory using the class sheet

Schedule
All class are taught on a request basis.  Call or email to schedule the class you want to take. 
We do classes for individuals as well as groups. 

  • Home Invasion  -  5 hour course - This course is a non-shooting course that can be conducted in any suitable location.

  • Social Chaos  - 7 hour course - This course is a non-shooting course that can be conducted in any suitable location.



  Handgun rentals are available at Oakwell Armory for participants who do         not already own a pistol.

Rifles are available for rent at Oakwell Armory

This course includes 20-50 rounds of live firing and minimal safety and
firearms instruction.  This course meets the training requirements for
applying for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearms license. Handgun
rentals are available at Oakwell Armory for participants who do not already
own a handgun..

  • Equipment Selection for Concealed Carry - 2-6 hour course - Cost is $25 for a non-shooting course and $50 for a course that includes a 1.5 hour live shooting session.  Inclusion of this live fire  session means the course certificate can be used to meet the training requirement for a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.  Instruction will be at Oakwell Armory. 
The course is a live firing course. This course  provides a training certificate
that can be used to meet the training requirement for a Florida Concealed
        Weapon or Firearm License.  The student will fire between 300 to 400
rounds of ammunition.  A basic point shooting class is a prerequisite for this          course.


  • Preparation for Force-on-Force - 4 hour course cost is $50 plus equipment costs of $40. Equipment rental includes, Air Soft pistol, holster, full face mask, pellets, and gas.  Students are encouraged to bring their own equipment and avoid the equipment rental costs.



  • NRA Pistol Classes - Call or contact us for a list of NRA classes being held in Northeast Florida.  All NRA pistol courses are available to be taught. Costs vary depending upon the course  and the number of students enrolled in the classes.  NRA classes including NRA Instructor classes are offered by Accurate Edge LLC in conjunction with JB Training LLC.  Our instructors are NRA certified and can conduct NRA classes upon request.
  • Private Instruction - One-on-One custom training.  You specify what you want to learn.  3 hour minimum time - $15 per hour. Private instruction is generally not available on weekends.

Facilities

Kingsland, GA 
Our  training facility is the Oakwell Armory shooting range. This is a new shooting range located in Kingsland, GA  just north of the Florida/Georgia line off  US 17. This facility is first class and offers one of the best shooting ranges in the South East. 

We can conduct all of our training classes at this facility.  The facility is available seven days a week. The classrooms are air conditioned and heated in the winter. The facility is convenient to people who live in North East Florida and South East Georgia. 

Classes in Kingsland can be conducted with a minimum of one student to a maximum of six students.   Click on the Oakwell Armory button at the top of this page to see some pictures of this excellent facility. Their range is available for shooting on a hourly basis or through yearly memberships. 


CLASSES OUTSIDE THE PUBLISHED SCHEDULE

- Since we can conduct classes seven days a week contact us if you would like to schedule a course outside of the published schedule.  We can also schedule evening classes.  For evening classes the shooting portion of the class will have to be accomplished during daylight hours while the classroom portion can be done in the evenings.

Once we have agreed on a class date and time we will reserve bays on the range for your class.  These classes can be one-on-one classes as well as multiple student classes so let us know what you would like to take and if you will bring others with you.
